The Frankie Award

Since the mid to late 1980s the Neanderthal Award, informally know as the “Frankie award” because of the trophy shape, has been given to an alpine ski patroller who most exemplifies the character, attitude, etc. of a nordic patroller. Unfortunately the award history has not been reliably kept so not all the recipients known.
