Fall Refreshers and Training

At the beginning of the month we had our Outdoor Emergency Care and Basic Live Support refreshers.

Yesterday we were up on Mount Pinos at Nordic Base for our Nordic/Backcountry skills refresher. We brushed up on radio protocols, knots, ropes, hauling systems, avalanche rescue, map compass and other skills needed to provide winter safety services.

We are now ready and waiting for snow! We hope to see you up and enjoying the winter environment soon.
